## Transcript

>> This might just be the first Google Glass hate crime, maybe. Tech writer Sarah Slocum says she was assaulted at a pump bar called Molotovs in San Francisco's Haight- Ashbury District for wearing Google Glass. Here's the video she took at the incident using Glass of course. She says the man rip the glasses off her face at one point and ran outside the bar. She later spoke of it on her Facebook age saying she was verbally and physically assaulted and robbed because of some wanker Google Glass haters. She says her purse and wallet were stolen and haven't been recovered. According to Eater San Francisco page, it started when a female patron told Slocum that people like her were destroying the city and then it got physical.

Apparently, patron's thought Slocum was filming them all night. Local news station KRON got an exclusive interview with her. Here's how she describes the night.

>> Two girls that were there, they started showing a lot of animosity towards me because I was wearing Google Glass. Just saying like, oh, Google Glass like, you know, negative kind of comments.

>> But other bar patrons aren't exactly siding with Slocum. KPIX interviewed Brian Lester who saw the event.

>> I think everybody was just upset that she would be recording outside of a bar that's like, with obviously embarrassing behavior going on around her. And just rather insulted that someone thinks it's okay to record them the entire time they're in public.

>> Another patron suggested that Molotovs wasn't exactly the most tactful place to be wearing and demonstrating Google Glass. Slocum told KRON she wears Google Glass almost everywhere she goes but as the bold, italic claims, it could have been more of a case of gadget showboating. The wearable tech certainly has the ability to make others feeling comfortable, inspiring recent stories on how not to be a glass- hole.

>> Please note that abusive glass make cause unwanted side effects. In extreme cases, some users exhibit social inaptitude and general douchiness.

>> Google even release this list on the dos and don'ts of using glass for those struggling to pick up on the social cues. I'm Megan Judy.
