## Transcript

Elizabeth Moss stopped by Latenight with Seth Meyers, and naturally the two got talking about that recent series finally of MadMen, specifically about that much talked about phone call between Moss and John Hamm's characters Peggy and Don. Moss revealed she actually was talking to Hamm on the phone when that scene was shot. And I was in my pajamas with coffee, and my cats, on the phone with John, when he's playing Don and he's crying, and I'm trying to get the cats to be quiet. [ LAUGH ] They're like, meow, and I'm like, That's right. Arguably one of the most pivotal scenes of the finale, and Moss was playing with her cats, but we can't blame her.

Her cat Ethel is adorable from the looks of a photo Moss posted on Instagram. Despite the unusual setting, Moss was able to really sell the scene and the phone call ended up being one of the New York Post's top five moments from the finale.
