[ MUSIC ] [ APPLAUSE ] Kobe Bryant made his final lap around the Staples Center, riding the ultimate high. On the final night of his 20- year career, the future Hall of Famer may not have made it to the post season, But boy did he have a fairy tale ending. 60 points for Black Mamba, which gives him a league record for most points by a player in a finale game. Kobe ends his career at third on the all time scoring list. Afterwards Bryant had the perfect post- game analysis for his final NBA game. The thing that had me cracking up all night long was the fact that I go through 20 years of everybody screaming to pass the ball and then the last night they're like don't pass it.

[ LAUGH ] This has been absolutely beautiful you guys. I can't believe it's come to an end. You guys will always be in my heart. What can I say? Out. [ APPLAUSE ] The mic has been dropped.
