## Transcript

>> Hey, this is Joel Stein, from TIME magazine, and I love to gamble. So, the Super Bowl is a very special day for me, although I don't know anything about football. So to solve my problem, I went to [ unk ], the odds maker at a station casinos in Las Vegas, to see if we could come up with a bet that was so stupid, even I can gamble on it. We're thinking for our bet, our prop bet in Super Bowl, maybe it would be the first person who scored touchdown, and if they went to a school in like the top 100 in the US news the world reports. Is that the dumbness bet you've heard in a while?

>> It's unique. It's something that I would-- might have considered otherwise. It's actually an interesting concept, will require a little bit of research, but compared to somebody other props that I've seen [ unk ] this-- on the betting boards running are around town, in the recent years, it's not a whole lot sillier that so many others.

>> But, it's probably snottiest that you've heard?

>> Probably the snottiest. I [ unk ]-- that's a fair statement.

>> And, you don't normally do a lot of these prop bets, that-- the really stupid ones anymore? My kind?

>> I've tried to gear proposition wagering in recent years, more from a substance standpoint, meaning, trying to have quality propositions, quality statistical propositions versus quantity. I've always tried to put propositions that really created a lot of thought, a lot of conversation, that could be analyzed from the statistical point standpoint and handicapped from a betting standpoint, the way any other betting proposition could be analyzed from the handicapping stand point.

>> Mine will be the most popular prop bet you'll have this year?

>> I would think at you're prop bet will get some con-- or create some conversation.

>> If you make $ 1 million, can I get a tiny cap?

>> If we make $ 1 million, we'll have to look to bring you on [ unk ].

>> Really? Like a free room for the night or something?

>> That's very doable.

>> Ok. Good.

>> That's [ unk ]

>> We've got a deal. So, if you make a million, I get a one night of a free, like a suite.

>> If I make a million on that proposition?

>> On that bet, on a proposition bet.

>> You got it.

>> Like a suite though, not just like a small room.

>> You can pick the suite if we make a million on that proposition.

>> Done. This is Joel Stein, from TIME magazine, and I'm about to make this casino a whole lot of money, which I cannot, but quickly go lose out there right now. Stupid Yankees--
