## Transcript

>> So I wanted to show you some Olympic outfits.

>> Okay.

>> And to get your professional opinion--

>> Okay.

>> On some of these.

>> Great.

>> Okay. So this is the Germans. Does it say Germany to you?

>> No. It doesn't say Germany and I think it's overdesigned.

>> Too much detail on like coats?

>> Too much color, too much detail.

>> Yes.

>> Doesn't look functional.

>> It's like a bridesmaid's dress. You'll never be able to wear it anywhere else, right, because everybody will know--

>> I think also they should've used the German colors much more.

>> I wonder why-- maybe they're just sick of those colors. This is Norway.

>> Yes. Not impressed. I like the color palette, but I'm not--

>> But you would have to.

>> I mean Diane von Fürstenberg would use this print in a dress and the dresses would look great, but I don't think it's appropriate for the Olympics.

>> It's not very or is it intimidating if we're trying to say sporting these or curling--

>> I think it's too clownish.

>> Yes.

>> It looks circusy.

>> You're actually collaborating with young Zooey Deschanel.

>> Yes.

>> On a little Capsule line. We think of her as super quirky. I think the phrase is like manic pixie dream girl. That's what they call her.

>> Okay.

>> And does that with your kind of classic elegance, does that meld well?

>> There is something very endearing and I think cool about quirky preppy, which is what we're really sort of promoting in our advertising because you don't have to be run of the mill, standard as your mom would've dressed you. You can do something with a twist and make it fun and interesting and colorful and unusual.

>> And did she have a lot to say? Did you get together with her or how--

>> Yes. Absolutely.

>> How did it work?

>> Now, we got together with her and she worked with some of my team who were taking notes on what she was saying and we're looking at vintage ideas and we're thinking about how to make it and she called it modicle.

>> Modicle.

>> In other words like modern article, modern article.

>> Yes, yes.

>> Which I thought was really sort of--

>> Like her.

>> Unique and fun and look. She's got a great sense of humor. She's very cute. She's very funny. She's actually very smart and I think it worked and is working really well.

>> Is there any fashion trend or item that you think we've had it. It will never be revived, thank God it's over?

>> Floral prints remind me of my grandmother's bedding. So when I see people wearing floral prints I think that they really don't have great taste because why would you wanna wear a floral print when you see it on a bed spread or you see it as wallpaper in an older person's home.

>> I see. So basically the standard thing we should always wear if your grandmother has it on her bed, do not wear it.

>> Exactly.
