## Transcript

One of the newest cruise ships in the world only sails the Caribbean for one season. Just minutes from Venice, the scariest place on earth is up for auction. And honoring a legend in nature. Here's this week's Travel and Leisure News Roundup. [ MUSIC ] [ MUSIC ] If you were hoping to land a room on Royal Caribbean's newest hottest ship, the Quantum of the Seas, you better book it quick. In an exclusive interview with USA Today, COO Adam Goldstein says the Quantum will move permanently to China in May of next year after an inaugural winter sailing season in the Bahamas and the Caribbean. It's not hard to see why.

China's middle class has exploded and the World Tourism Organization reports Chinese citizens spend time and a half what Americans did on trips in 2013. Quantum of the Seas features large state rooms and suites, a three story glassed in entertainment venue and a giant mechanical arm to send you high above the ship. Or even the seam, next up Swiss inventors plan to break several records by taking a round the globe trip without using one drop of fuel. Meet Solar Impulse 2, the plane inventors hope will fly around the world, unveiled in early April, CNN reports Solar Impulse 2's wingspan is wider than a Boeing 747.

Yet as light as a family car with 17, 000 solar cells giving it's motors renewable energy. The first solar impulse shattered several records like the first ever 26 hour overnight flight in 2010. Solar Impulse 2 is set for it's earth circling flight in March of 2015 And now, here's your chance to own your very own island, only ten minutes from Venice, except it's considered the most haunted place on Earth. Welcome to Pavaglia. Don't let the scaffolding on the old hospital fool you. [ UNKNOWN ] is abandoned. And most say cursed. The island became essentially a dumping ground and quarantine station for people with the plague in the late 1700s and mass graves are still there.

But then became a hospital for the elderly in 1922, but that was rumored to be simply a front for a mental institution. Italy is auctioning the island off to help pay its public debt and bids are due May sixth. It's one of half a million commercial and residential properties the country owns. And finally, a true case of giving credit where it's due. Scotland officially unveiled a John Muir Way Monday. A 134 mile trail through Edinburgh Glascow In much of the southern region of the country. The Scottish- born American naturalist campaigned for the preservation of US wilderness including Yosemite Valley and Sequoia National Park.
