## Transcript

Welcome to the PageCast. It's Tuesday, September 9th. I'm Mark Halperin in Gotham City with your three things to watch for in politics today. First, Barack Obama tries to breakthrough with the big education speech that has not been a big issue in this campaign. Watch to see if Obama can get any traction on that, an issue that has historically favored Democrats. Second, watch President Bush's announcement on Iraqi troop withdrawals, watch to see if Iraq becomes front and center in the campaign today, of course, not as big an issue in the general elections so far as many people thought it would be.

And then finally, the scrutiny of Sarah Palin continues, number of stories out there today, including more scrutiny of the McCain- Palin campaign's claims about Sarah Palin and the bridge to know where. Watch to see if Democrats gain any traction on any of those charges and how the press treats them. Those are your three things to watch for in politics today. You can get all the political news all the time right here on The Page. For now in Gotham City, I'm Mark Halperin. Thank you for watching this PageCast.
