Chance the rapper. My God. Uh. I'm a part of a founder and a board member of an organization called Socialworks in Chicago. Uh, we focus primarily on, uh, working with mental health providers, uh, the houseless population in Chicago and a lot of work in the public education system. Uh. Typically, I'd be nervous to talk about stuff like that, but earlier, when they did the first host, I thought it was a shot. So I'm so warm and confident right now. Uh. They asked me to propose a toast to something or someone that, uh, influenced me to, to, to care for people. And so I want to do a toast to my auntie curling. Uh. She was. She was an amazing woman. Uh, she ran a daycare out of her house, an unlicensed daycare out of her house. She let all sorts of people stay with her, and she was a fierce protector of children. And I think that is the duty and the vow that we're taking by celebrating ourselves tonight is that we're continuing to look out for the children, that we are building a world that's safe for them, that we accept our duty and that we promise to do it the correct way. And so being in a room with so many stars, educators, activists, uh, people that have been blessed in life and have made the decision to bless others, I'm truly honored. Uh, and so I want to do a toast to you guys, but I want to make a toast to my Auntie Carolyn and to the vow that we're taking tonight to continue our duty, uh, to this world. And, uh, sip it.
