## Transcript

Porsha Williams apologizes for a controversial speech. The gays, the lesbians, we're supposed to be trying to save them and tell them you are a woman. God can use you, like it used me. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member gave that sermon three years ago, before she was famous. But, it went viral Monday when TMZ posted it. The 31 year old reality star said the controversy stirred up by TMZ's post made her heart heavy. And, released this statement exclusively to People. The sermon that was shown was shown not in its entirety, therefore the message was omitted. I apologize that those words hurt the LGBT community, my fans, and my supporters.

Williams is the second Real Housewives of Atlanta star to issue an apology to the LGBT community this week. NeNe Leakes halfheartedly apologized for questionable comments she made throughout the just concluded season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Sunday night's reunion show. If I offended you, or anybody else in the gay community, then I apologize for that, since I never apologize. [ LAUGH ]. My heart is so cold. That's the end of that. Right. Do I need to do any further? What do you need me to do? Williams was recently charged with battery after an altercation with cast member Kenya Moore at the.

That reunion taping. Her future with the show, is unknown. Thanks for watching. I'm Brice Sander.
