## Transcript

Arguably the biggest moment of any pro golfer's career. Bubba Watson earned the green jacket Sunday for the second time in three years. But perhaps the moments getting the most attention weren't taking the lead on the last day or sinking the putt on 18 to win by three strokes. But the celebration. Watson tearfully picked up son Caleb and then walked him through the crowd, giving out handshakes and high fives. For us being adoptive parents, our story, trying to explain to him how much we love him and how much we care for him. But now having video where he was here, where he came out on the green.

You know, if he loves golf, it's gonna be great for him. As if that didn't have you smiling big enough, Watson's victory dinner included a post- midnight run to Waffle House of all places. So could there have been a more likable or better winner Sunday? Well, yeah, according to the Golfing World. One of the runners up, Jordan Spieth had many analysts writing what if. The 20 year old would have been the youngest Masters champion ever. Breaking Tiger Wood's record from 1997. Any time that you're being compared or you're trying to break a record that Tiger Woods has set. You're being regarded in some pretty high company and I.

Golf has been this close to some of the most colossal stories. But besides what could have been, some stuck with what is. And they still weren't thrilled. Watson got attention over the last year for yelling at caddy Ted Scott and calling him out after poor shots. And even inspiring social media hash tags like # tedsfault and # blameted. The two have downplayed any perceived rift on the course and complimented each other heavily Sunday. When Jason Collins came out as the first openly gay player in NBA history Watson got attention once again. Criticizing homosexuality based on his religion. Watson said, I'm not saying he's wrong, I'm saying I love him.

If he called me right now and said, Hey or any person that was gay called me, I'd go to dinner with them anytime. It's just my belief system on the Bible says you can't be gay. That's a sin. So somebody living is sin, I believe to be wrong. But a win, as they say, is a win. And Watson bested every man able to play this week on the biggest stage. As a contributor for Yahoo put it. Manic and loose. Competitive and casual. Outspoken and introverted. Cheery and prickly. Bubba Watson, more so than almost any athlete, shows the range of emotion that we expect from, you know, real people. Who happens to have won the Masters twice.
