I play Lorraine Bronson and she's an MI6 agent. I chose this life and some day it's going to get me killed. We don't explain her. And we don't justify any of her behavior or the fact that she's a woman. So there was no way that I was gonna make this movie and go through the action, that this woman goes through with a lot of men that are way bigger than her, and not have the effects of those physical fights show on my face, and on my body. Someone set me up, someone from the inside. Now this only ends one way [ SOUND ] a bullet. From the first moment that you see those bruises on her face, you realize that you get what she does and how she gets out of a room when she's cornered.

She takes it, she can take a hit. Because you have to show it, you have to show it. There was nothing about it that was easy, but I think the physical challenge of it was maybe more than 50 % of why I really wanted to do the movie. I cracked three teeth within the first month of training. Apparently I was clenching down on my jaw, fighting, like when you tense your body up and having that I tensed up so much in my jaw that I cracked through the teeth. [ MUSIC ] I mean, just what we ending up shooting, and that my body didn't break on me, I got great strength out of that. I think for us it was...

How do we break that glass ceiling? How do we tell a story that- Is just truthful, and we don't kind of shy away from things that a lot people and synods shy away from when it's a woman. And I feel like we are breaking ceilings and I do think that it's great for us. [ BLANK_AUDIO ]
