## Transcript

A gunman opened fire at an Atlanta suburb FedEx building Tuesday morning, shooting six people. Before police say he turned the gun on himself. There was a male shooter in the building, shooting several people, multiple victims. The police are have, have sent special teams in there. While police haven't released any details on the suspect except to say he was a man. The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported shortly before 9 o'clock Eastern Time, he was dead. Police say they first got the call of an active shooter a few hours prior near the Cobb County airport in Kenesaw which is northwest of Atlanta.

One Fedex employee described getting a phone call from his boss who confronted the shooter. He ran through security. Shot a security guard. Had a gun, he had a gun pointed at him and said, don't worry about getting here on time. A reporter for WXIA talked to family members of FedEx employees who said the shooter had a shotgun and pistols. The family members also said the gunman was a baggage handler and they did not think he was disgruntled. Many of the people gathering around the FedEx facility, were employee family members looking for information. Like one man who couldn't reach his wife. We're supposed to meet over there at Sparkles, and they'll let us know who the injuries were.

What are you feeling, right now, man? This has gotta be pretty scary. Scared. Just hope she's okay. Reporters on the ground described hundreds of police officers on scene mid- morning a Marietta police officer told reporters one of the people hurt in the shootings was in critical condition.
