This is my sixth time around the world. And I see it deteriorating each time I go around. And whether it's plastic or obvious pollution in like the [ UNKNOWN ] where the high pressure system sits, All weathers now in the southern hemisphere, when we're racing in the South Atlantic, sorry in the Southern Ocean, and the ice skates having to move further north because of the risk of ice is getting greater. So the global warming Forming that we're seeing first hand, or actually the reality of human debris in the ocean that's affecting the ocean health. We're carrying a science project on the boat which is analyzing the water that we're passing through and it's the first time it's ever happened. And we're collecting regular data like salinity, temperature, PH levels, carbon dioxide levels. But for the first time ever, we're actually filtering for micro- plastics, so we're talking obvious plastic when we talk about pollution, like balloons, buckets, bottles, bags, nets. But now we're actually filtering for micro- plastics, which these large things decompose down into, and we can't see them. And as we've been filtering, we are now getting the analysis as we travel around the world and we travel to some of the most remote places in the planet and sadly, we're seeing the reality that microplastics are existing even in a southern nation. This raw data now is available and we're hoping that in the future more data can be collected so we can see if it deteriorates or gets better. And I think the Pushing the timing in a way everybody is trying to get on board with this addressing plastic pollution, then we're gonna see things get better.
