It's a girl for new mom, Chelsea Clinton. The former first daughter tweeted Friday night: Marc and I are full of love, awe, and gratitude as we celebrate the birth of our daughter, Charlotte Clinton Mesvinsky. She and husband Marc Mesvinsky had been tight- lipped about the baby, keeping secret its due date. They also kept the sex of the baby a surprise, even from themselves. Isn't it strange that the doctors around you know. But you don't know .

>> Charlotte is the first grandchild for Bill and Hillary Clinton. I want them to respect everyone they meet, whatever their background and I want them to really. Love being alive. When Clinton announced her pregnancy back in April, the pundits wasted no time in asking whether Hillary Clinton would reconsider her possible 2016 ambitions now that she was becoming a grandmother. And that prompted an entirely different debate other whether it was sexist to even ask in the first place. As for Chelsea Clinton, she announced back in August she'd be leaving her role as a special correspondent at NBC, but will continue her work with the Clinton foundation.
