Can you look in my bag? Help me pick out something to wear! My best friend was black, I mean, she's still black and we're not really friends anymore. I have got too much money. Here at Time we normally round up the most popular viral videos of the month. But in January nearly every video on our Facebook feed was a variation of the same theme, [ NOISE ] Girls Say. Listen. Listen Been living under a rock lately? Here's a primer. The original [ NOISE ] Girls Say was a Twitter feed, detailing things that only women would say, like, I hate the word moist. It caught on because it's true. As a girl, I do hate the word moist.

The natural next step was a YouTube series. [ MUSIC ] The first episode launched in December and even featured a Juliet Lewis cameo. Are you near a computer? Can you read this and see if it makes sense? Can you look something up for me? Could you do me a huge favor? It took the whole funny because it's true thing, and wrapped up more than 13 million views online. And then came the parodies. So many parodies. There's shit black girls say. Damn! That's my song, turn it up. That's my song, oh, that is my song right there. White girls say to black girls. Is this real? Is this all yours? Wait, it's not real?

It is? It is. Okay. Sorry. Girls say to gay guys. He's gay too. You should totally meet him. You guys would be perfect together [ NOISE ]. New Yorker's say. It's the train. Where's the train? He's just going to spend it on drugs. Nobody knows about this place. Tourists. Uhh, I hate tourists. Tourists. Move. Move. You have to go to Brooklyn. It's the law. And even [ NOISE ] nobodies. Baggy tshirts look awesome on you. I miss faxing. Twilight deserves an Oscar. I completely understand my taxes. Mm- hm, Captain Dees. Hey does anyone know how I can make Paparius my default font. In fact, there are so many [ SOUND ] Girls Say parodies that there's a search engine for them.

It's called has anyone said this [ SOUND ]. And the site lets you search through nearly 700 of these videos. [ MUSIC ] So, wanna make your own parody? Don't. Please. We guaruntee your idea has been done before. We even thought about doing [ NOISE ] what journalists say, but naturally it's been done already. Hi, I'm calling about that story. I have to meet the mayor in 15 minutes. Just leaving a second message. Let me Google that. For time video, I'm Megan Freeman. Me too. Okay, well there goes lunch.
