## Transcript

Whole Foods co- CEOs, John Mackey and Walter Robb, have issued an apology for overcharging customers. Straight up, we made some mistakes. We want to own that and tell you what we're doing about it. The two CEOs announced a three- part remedy in the hopes of gaining back consumers' trust. First, they're going to increase training in stores across the country in order to cut back on overweighing errors. And we know they're unintentional, because the mistakes are both in the customer's favor, and sometimes not in the customer's favor. The training and other moves followed New York City's five year investigation into the chain over its labeling of pre- packaged foods like sandwiches and salads.

The city found over 800 violations during 107 separate inspections since 2010. And the overcharges reached as high as. $ 14. 84. Other move include Whole Foods' hiring an auditing company with the promise of reporting additional progress to customers after 45 days. Finally, the grocery store, which over the years has earned the nickname Whole Paycheck, has a new 100 % price guarantee to customers. And if there's a mistake that's not in your favor We promise to give you that item for free. As a result of an increasing demand for fresh, organic products the high end grocer also announced earlier this year a more affordable sister store, 365 by Whole Foods Market.

Fresh, healthy, exciting, hip, cool. It's targeted at millennials and meant to compete with the lower prices now offered at stores like Walmart.
