## Transcript

[ SOUND ] 20 seasons, 5 rings and countless haters. Kobe Bryant's done a lot in his career which he spent entirely with the Lakers. As the Black Mamba calls it quits, here are five of his most fantastic feats. As a 19 year old back in 1998, he became the youngest player to ever play in an All- Star game, dropping 18 points at Madison Square Garden and going head to head with Michael Jordan for the first time. 2005 / 06 season saw Kobe hit 2 career highs in scoring. One month after month he scored 62 in a game, he dropped an astonishing 81 points in a win over the Raptors, a single game mark, second only to Will Chamberlain's 100 point game In 2008, he won his first Olympic gold medal as a member of the Redeem team, after Kobe's US team beat Spain and his teammate Paul Gasol, Kobe hang his medal over Gasol's locker back in Los Angeles for motivation.

2010 saw Bryan's fifth and final NBA championship which he won over the Boston Celtics, avenging his 2008 Finals loss. Afterward Bryan would called the championship the sweetest of his career. All his hard work culminated two years ago when he passed Jordan on the all time NBA scoring list and became the leagues third leading scorer of all time. He's one of only three players to score at least 33, 000 points. [ MUSIC ]
