## Transcript

It's an amazing series, you know, and I love it just as much as everyone else loves it. And of course, being invited to be a part of it, you certainly want to do it justice, and you want to be in service of of Mike's brilliance. You know, he's such a master of tone. And I think that is something that we all, um, you know, were motivated by. I think what makes this, this particular season a little bit different is that, you know, we're in Thailand, it's the location. And and what's exciting is that we see each of the characters explore Thailand in a way that we haven't seen in previous seasons.

And I think as a result of of that, the show actually feels bigger and broader. And we're seeing kind of the intersection of two different cultures, right. We see the Western culture with the eastern culture and kind of, um, kind of how they kind of butt up against each other and it's kind of haunting and beautiful and funny. Old friends, long time friends. Not always. What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand. What does that mean? It means we're not dead yet. Amen. Amen. We just were all over the place in Thailand. We were able to travel and shoot multiple occasions. And in Hawaii, we were kind of really forced to shoot in one location because of the circumstances of quarantine.

And so to have that freedom to really have the characters go off campus and like, explore the country, it was it was really cool to do. And, you know, the culture there is incredible. And so I just it was I think audiences are going to see that Thailand is a character on the show, you know, in a way that I feel like the other locations, obviously they're set in these beautiful places, but Thailand feels like another character on the show. Our hotel is the best in the world. At the end of the week, you will be an entirely different person. To Thailand and a week of new memories. I was just so excited because I'd loved The White Lotus for the first two seasons, like biggest fan and just didn't see where I would fit in it.

I could be like, what part could I play in this show? And then I read this audition sides for Chelsea, and I was like, oh my God, that might be, this might be it, this might be the way in. And so I was just so drawn to Chelsea and Rick's story because it was like really different. I couldn't really compare it to anything that had come before it, which was exciting. But, um, I just was I was hooked, like reading the scripts. I was like, I was saying I had a million different guesses of where I thought the ending was going. I was completely wrong with all of them, because he's so good at that. He's so playful and mischievous.

It's like he wants us to be like, I know what's gonna happen. And then he goes, nope. So it's just so fun to read. This place is insane. We should always live like this. I'm so happy. Oh my babies altogether. I hope you enjoy Thailand. We usually go to the Caribbean. I feel really lucky to be here. I want to learn everything. I can and bring the magic back to. Maui. It's a wellness center. You should get a facial rec. The lady in the airport thought you were my dad. Oh my. God. I think that there's a lot of presenting kind of their their perfect lives initially. And then, you know, that starts to kind of chip away as the as the season progresses.
