United Airlines is having a tough summer. For the second time in a month, the airline grounded flights nationwide because of an automation issue. United and the Federal Aviation Administration have yet to clarify what that actually is. United sent out this tweet saying it experienced a network connectivity issue. Flight operations resumed by mid morning. CNBC says flights were grounded for about two hours. United Airlines grounded all of it's flights less than 30 days ago on June second for about 40 minutes. United told Time it initiated the notice quote, to ensure aircraft departed with proper dispatching information.

we call the Institute of Flight Operations and. Batch to get a run down what that meant. Proper dispatch info includes an agreed on flight path before the flight and any changes until the plane has safely reached it's destination. CNBC says United tallied 3, 500 flights will be effected by this latest issue with delays possibly reaching 235 domestic and 138 international locations.
