## Transcript

Pennsylvania Police say a Widener University student was shot outside the school's athletic center Monday night. WPVI reports the unidentified male victim was shot in his left side while sitting in a parked car around 9 p. m. According to authorities, the student immediately called 911 for help. A hospital spokesperson told Fox News Tuesday, the student was in critical condition after undergoing surgery. There's no word on the motive, but a university spokesperson did tell reporters all indications are this was not a random act of violence. Police told WTFX they warned students to stay indoors until 6 a.

m. Tuesday as they search for the suspected gunman. But that lockdown was lifted after Police canines determined the suspect had fled campus. Classes are expected to be held as usual Tuesday. Police say they're reviewing surveillance footage and other evidence to uncover what happened. For Time, I'm Christian Bryant.
