Minecraft videos on YouTube like this generate tens of millions of views. [ MUSIC ] This is all because of the massively popular game Minecraft, which has over ten million sales on the Mac and PC version. I'm Henry, a Minecraft fan. And if you are new, here's some things you need to know about Minecraft. Mining. Mining is usually how you collect resources like the mine in Minecraft. Crafting. Crafting is a way to make your tools so that you can accomplish things. Such as mining, you wanna make a pick ax so you can do it faster. If you wanna fight things, you can make a sword, wanna protect yourself, armor and you can even craft blocks. Survival, survival is pretty much what it sounds like. You can build and graph, and do whatever, as long as you can survive. But there are still monster that you have to fight, yo. [ NOISE ] There are some hostile monsters. There's one called Creepers that'll explode, zombies, just normal monsters. Skeletons fire bows at you. Nenerman teleport. And they are scary. Maps. People create fun little maps that you can play on, like mini games. An adventure map is pretty much an adventure in a map. You go around, usually doing quests or trying to perform a task. There's also something called parcore maps, which is pretty much like parcore. Just doing parkour, jumping around. [ MUSIC ] Redstone. Redstone is a complicated thing that you have to have some knowledge of arithmetic and mathematics. [ SOUND ] It's pretty much wiring. But as complicated as wiring in real life. Best thing about Minecraft is that it has an infinite number of possibilities, it's never ending and it challenges your creativity.
