## Transcript

>> Two pictures gone viral have the Wisconsin National Guard apologizing for the actions of one of its own. It started with this Instagram posting showing a group of soldiers in army combat uniforms pose next to a flag- draped empty casket during funeral training. The caption read, " We put the fun in funeral ." Then there was this selfie posted by the same solider, this time with a caption that read, " It's so damn cold out. Why have a funeral outside? Somebody is getting a jacked up flag ." The woman who posted the pictures was a Madison- based army specialist with the Wisconsin National Guard.

And while her Instagram account has since been closed, that hasn't put an end to online outrage. The state's National Guard confirmed on its own Facebook page it was investigating the photos. More than 1, 000 people chimed in with comments, most calling the photos a disgrace, and calling for those in them to be discharged. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker told WISN he too found the pictures distasteful.

>> It's unfathomable to me that people who are, not just service members, but were picked to be in this highly specialized area wouldn't be sensitive enough to realize just how awful that is.

>> And while the photos were taken during a training event, not an actual military funeral, the Wisconsin Adjutant General who ordered the investigation said in a statement he was " appalled by the offensive photos ." The Wisconsin National Guard says the guard member who posted the pictures has been indefinitely suspended from the funeral honors detail. She has been getting online death threat so she's also been given a security detail.
