## Transcript

Favorite is just like empowering like we love to have money and keep money in to grow money. And everyone's doing it all the cool girl. He's are so we stay rich. I'm Haley AKA mrs. Jones and I am the zillenial finance expert. I personally really needed to learn about money and I couldn't find resources and teachers out there that we're fine. So I didn't see her. I became her credit card bill women are not taught from an early age that they are good at math or that finances good for them. It's always men are out there taking a bit more wrist told that like they should be investing in growing wealth and women are taught to see if the coupon to put all their money in the checking account to leave it but investing is for the girls honey.

We actually lose out on more money than the gender pay Gap by now the best day today. I am not riding with me Finance is fine finances School finances empowering if I can do it you can do it. It's just tied up in all of this. Jargon and Mystique, but when you get to the core root of It's really simple. Oh my gosh, there is so much bad advice out there. First of all, that renting is bad that the American dream has really changed for his Aladdin dolls and not everyone can afford to or even wants to own a home but there's a shame about renting and this pressure that you have to have this white picket fence in order to like have made it as an adult and I'm just calling to BS on that whole thing rent.

If you want to in many neighborhoods will actually make more money by renting and put in whatever money you were going to put towards your down payment into the stock market then if you were to invest in a house as a noun another really bad tip is to never use a credit card. People have been taught that for years. Don't use a credit card. If you're going to overspend on it. You can't control if you have a credit cards going to get you into debt and it's like know if used responsibly a credit card is like the best way to build credit to build your financial history. It's much safer to the credit card when you're shopping online cuz there's all this fraud protection and you get bonuses and reward.

Star Financial tip number 3 avoid that at all costs. What are you kidding? That is how the rich get richer of course avoid High interest rate that like Consumer Debt credit card. But taking out a low interest rate mortgage loans for a degree that will give you high or earning potential when you used your teacher Glee that is a really amazing tool to build. Well, there's a threshold of 7% and if it is under 7% then it's low interest rate that I do but that is above 7% that it's high interest rate that because at 8% that's what the stock market has returned over the last 100 years annually adjusted for inflation.

If you are borrowing at a 3% rate at a 4% interest rate, and then you're able to invest at an 8% return. Yes, you have a little bit of money coming out each month, but you're making more money because you have freed up that cash. 45 piece of financial advice that I hear a lot is just like yellow. I've got all this time to save for retirement. Don't worry about today tomorrow will take care of it. Like we're going to live in the now and it's like no the best time to start investing was yesterday. The second best time to start investing was today because of compound interest and it's really not about timing the market or picking the perfect stock.

It's literally about time in the market. So instead of putting off your retirement and you're investing for another day got started today and you will reap huge Rewards. Actually to go cuz the market closes in like 5 minutes and money never sleeps, but thank you so much time for having me stay red.
