## Transcript

Welcome to Haddonfield, Illinois where holiday tradition runs deep. At the spirited age of six Michael Myers began his career of gruesome Halloween murders starting with his older sister. With such a robust crime- rate, this place would never make our best places. Nestled in the cornfields of rural Nebraska, Gatlin could be just another sleepy farm town, but you won't find an idyllic community here. There's something very strange about this town. Get off! Stephen King sets his terrifying tales in Castle Rock, Maine .

>> Nothing that lives in the imagination is more frightening, [ SOUND ] [ NOISE ] [ MUSIC ] Then the terror that lives in Castle Rock, Maine. [ NOISE ] Light fear is not for the faint of hear. [ SOUND ] The town's full of the paranormal, supernatural and the downright horrifying. [ SOUND ] Maine seems to be a hot spot for the grim and grisly. Jessica Fletcher helps local police solve murder mysteries that plague Cabot Cove. [ MUSIC ] I don't want to alarm you but something very sinister is going on here. Wolf is dead. Isn't this where the killing took place? There or nearby. I'll check it out.

[ MUSIC ] The New York Times even noted its staggering body count. More than 60 murders in a town of just 3, 500. I've been here one year, there's. This is my fifth murder. What is this, the death capital of Main? Aagh Maybe there's something in the water.
