Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and other big- name entrepreneurs, are teaming up to provide the world clean and renewable energy. Their initiative, dubbed the Breakthrough Energy Coalition, aims to join governments, ambassadors, and inventors. And the government's been there to fund the basic research. That was true for the Digital revolution. We need the basic research but we have to pair that [ MUSIC ] With people who were willing to fund high risk breakthrough energy companies. The goal is a zero emissions energy future and the group plans in investing broadly across sectors like electrical generation, transportation and agriculture.

Zuckerberg and Gates's announcement comes as the top 21 Climate change conference starts in Paris.
