## Transcript

Just a few months ago, Whitney Wolfe was V. P. of Marketing for the popular dating app Tinder, but now Wolfe is suing Tinder, Match. com, and their parent company IAC, claiming she was sexually harassed, called a ****. And forced out of her position by the company's chief marketing officer, Justin Mateen. Claiming that she was the subject of abusive behavior, verbally abusive behavior, also inappropriate messages. Private messages from an executive who allegedly. Told her having a quote, 24 year old girl as a cofounder made Tinder seem like a joke. According to the Wall Street Journal, Wolfe's lawsuit is fraught with drama and personal conflicts.

The suite also says Wolf and Mateen had a brief relationship in 2013. And their personal conflicts quote, constantly spilled into the workplace. And at least some of that doesn't seem to be up for debate. IAC issued this statement. It has become clear that Mr. Mateen sent private messages to Ms. Wolfe containing inappropriate content. We unequivocally condemn these messages, but believe that Ms. Wolfe's allegations with respect to Tinder and its management are unfounded. Wolfe also accuses Tinder CEO Sean Rad of ignoring her complaints about Mateen, and firing her after she offer to resign. These negative headlines come just as Tinder is beginning to take off.

There were reports that Tinder had a $ 5 billion valuation, but those rumors were debunked shortly after. And even though the app isn't valued anywhere near $ 5 billion, it is popular. According to Tinder, the app receives more than 850 million swipes per day. Wolfe is asking for lost wages based on her being pushed out of the company and damages for emotional distress. I'm Jamal Andrews.
