## Transcript

Welcome to the PageCast. It's Friday, January 25th. I'm Mark Halperin in Fort Lauderdale. Here are three things to watch for in politics today. First, in the Democratic race, it's the first day of the South Carolina campaign. All the Democratic candidates are gonna be in South Carolina with a full day of campaigning. Clinton, Edwards, and Obama, as well as a spouse or two. Watch to see the dynamic that develops there. And whether the candidates try to engage in any negative campaigning on this final full day before the voting begins. Second here in Florida watch to see if any of the candidates try to change the dynamic in that race.

No one really did in the debate on Thursday night. Watch to see if any of the candidates decided they needed to shack things up in order to give themselves a better chance of winning with a new ad or perhaps some new campaign rhetoric or whether, as has happened over most of this fight over Florida, they just play out the string. And then, finally watch for some announcements. It's getting down to the last minute, when if someone wants to endorse a candidate in South Carolina or in Florida with a national endorsement, that they can make a difference. Watch to see if anybody tries to do that today.

There's some real possibilities out there. Those are your three things to watch for in politics today. You can get all the political news and some airline airport announcements, all day long right here on The Page for now. I'm Mark Halperin, thanks for watching The Page you guys.
