Even though travel restrictions to Cuba have been relaxed, there still aren't that many travel options for people looking to spend some time there. But, more avenues are slowly opening up over the next several months. Starting July 3rd, JetBlue is operating charter flights through Cuba Travel Services From New York to Havana, Sun County Airlines has already been flying that route, but many have balked at the $ 849 round- trip ticket. Also in July Island Travel & Tours will start running charter flights to Havana from Baltimore, Maryland and Washington D. C. Last month CheapAir. com claimed it was the first online travel agency To sell flights to Cuba on the web, but the round trip ticket from Miami offered on the site, will run you $ 471.

Which some say seems like a lot considering the flight is only an hour long. And for those looking to travel with a bit more style, International Expeditions plans to start running a small cruise to Cuba. Most of Cuba's ports aren't equipped to handle large cruise ships, so this one of your only options. But they will set you back $ 4, 599. There are some cheaper options coming soon. The Sun Sentinel reports at least four companies have received licenses to run ferries to Cuba. There's no official announcement for when those services are open So if you're looking to spend some time exploring Cuba, it's starting to get easier.

You just have to be willing to shell out a decent amount of cash to get there.
