## Transcript

We are extremely concerned about the hunger and it has been experienced by people across the whole of the Gaza Strip depending on where you are. It ranges from emergency levels, but it goes all the way up to catastrophic levels you find that there are people who have missed meals for a day or two days or 3 days. They have severe hunger am but you also have people who have a cute hunga that is there not eating for a week and families suffering health is deteriorating and they are weakening because of it and it's incredibly worrisome for the welfare program right now. This is a temporary post and we are making sure that we negotiate with all the parties and the communities in the area to try and ensure that when we bring assistants in it gets there safely and it protects the people were there to say So having areas for the further away from the checkpoints and where we can safely drop assistance are to people whether they know that they can receive it in safety and not put that lives a trick.

That is the first key component that we need to resolve. I'm in order to restart and the second is is we're doing a lot of Engagement with Community to ensure that the Victim Assistance is protected as it moves on and we give people confidence these things are happening intensive Law & Order because people are desperately in need of assistance and then they see your sister's going to bed early. They think they should get it for themselves because they have villages in trouble to now what's important is the polls right now is to guard the city and Beyond we are still serving the rest of the Gaza Strip from from Rapha up to and right up to the last checkpoint before before Garden City will continue to do that but over the coming days.

Resolve these issues and then we can restart. We also want to find other means to get assistance into into the north Garza. We have to flood the area with the system if we're going to mitigate and stop a famine which is happening today. So if we can get additional entry points into the Gaza Strip, then we believe those volumes will go up and we can actually talk to rest assure that we going to mitigate this catastrophic crosses that people are facing today.
