If it feels like you've seen this headline before, it's because you have. He's been declared dead once before. But this time apparently, Mexican drug lord Nazario Moreno really has been killed. Moreno was allegedly killed in a shoot out with police in 2010. But they never found a body. Sunday, Mexican officials announced Moreno was killed, again, in a gunfight with authorities, again. They held a press conference to assure everyone this was indeed Moreno. And he was indeed dead. This time they provided these fingerprints to back up the claim that they actually got their man. Moreno founded the cartel known as La Familia.

The BBC suggests he was considered the spiritual leader of its offshoot, the brutal Knights Templar. Moreno reportedly converted to Christianity in the 1980's and used it's doctrines to defend those who worked for him. He wrote a bible of sorts. He was the one who indoctrinated many members of the Knights Templar Cartel. And the government made no doubts about it. They said this is the man who led that cartel. This announcement follows the recent capture of Joaquin El Chapo Guzman, widely considered the largest trafficker of drugs from Mexico into the U. S. I'm Jammal Andrews.
