Missa sleeps in a really crazily secure panic room. Do you, you know, you're a celebrity, you've got a famous husband. Do you relate to that kind of year? I relate to panic sometimes. [ LAUGH ] I mean, I think one of the things I think that's happening with Nessa, is that she is going from being someone who performs herself all the time and feels she has to be extraordinary and remarkable and pushes out the, the human flawed sides of herself, to somebody who, you know. Is actually a human being. Are you saying that's one of the performative aspects of being an actress? Well, look, I think it maybe it's an occupational hazard of being an actor more than other people, but I think that that's something that all human beings can relate to.

Performing themselves, thinking they're supposed to be a kind of fantasy of what they imagined they were going to be when they were 20. You know, and then, like ,. look i'm thirty six i feel like so much of my thirties has been having to that performance is just not working anymore so then you have two choices you can like slowly die or you can come alive and be in the river and be a human being and like do the best you can and i think that's part of what happening to Nessa too. Part of my interest in that, part of myself came from playing this you know, kinda like, I don't know, the humanity, the places where we're terrified, the places where we're weak, the places where we're wrong.

And Nessa has all of that and so do I. That's where you're in the game. That's where you're like, living your life, and having a connection and with the world and with other people and I think the panick comes when you think you're supposed to be something that you just can't possibly be. And you know you, you start to the series with watching a woman who's like just starting to not be able to handle it any more. Alright.
