This is Alison Stateman and this is 10 Questions for TIME. I'm here with actor / comedienne Amy Poehler. Thank you for being here. >> Thanks Alison. >> Our first question comes from Juan Blanco in Miami Florida. >> Olah, Juan! Como estas? >> What was your favorite skit's performed during your amazing run on SNL and your favorite character to play? >> Let's see. Well, certainly, a favorite character to play was this little girl that I used to do Caitlin, who kinda run around almost a real [ unk ] because she just was real high energy and I just got to go crazy and that was really fun to play and right now it's coming to mind is me and Rachel Dratch playing Elizabeth Taylor and Michael Jackson sitting in a tree. But-- >> Megan Butterworth from Sandpoint, how hard was this transition from SNL to your new show Parks and Recreation? >> Well, Mrs. Butterworth, it was a great problem to have and that we-- I was so excited to working on a new project and to be working with such talented writers and producers. And I had spent, you know, seven- and- a- half years, seven- and- a- half seasons in SNL. I was really looking forward to trying something new so I was lucky to be able to have such a great thing to go to. >> Ronny Thompson in Baltimore, Maryland wants to know. Will fans to the office like Parks and Recreation too? >> Yes. Yes, they will Ronnie. >> Is it similar? I know there's been a lot of comparisons because the executive producers are the office are behind your show. >> Uh- hmm. The mockumentary style will seem familiar and although that style was not certainly not started with the American office. That will seem familiar. But other than that it's a whole new cast of characters in a completely different world. This show is about town meetings, where weird people show up and complain that their neighbor's head just were too tall. So this is kind of a character comedy about a lot of diluted crazy people who have varying degrees of power. >> Samantha Nam- Crane in-- actually Boston-- >> All right, hi Samantha. Hi, how are you? >> is curious. Would you ever consider being in a serious drama? >> Well, Samantha, first of all, thank you so much for your question. I know it was wicked hot for you to write it and it's so weird that you're from Boston. So, what I'd like to be in a drama like Mystic River, yeah. Yes. I would love to be in some kind of drama where I have to cry, got shot or I die or around someone tried to steal my car keys or something. >> You've worked with obviously a lot of comedians and actors. Are there any comedians that you haven't worked with so far that you'd love to work with? >> Jim Carey, I think he's really funny, and [ unk ]. I want us to do a road comedy together, it then be called, Crazy Grandma at the Wheel. And I would be annexed to her neighbor that she kidnaps because she's gotta get money or something to put down payment on a house in Florida so she kidnaps me and takes me on a crazy road trip, it would be probably pretty dramatic and a lot of sex scenes, yup, for both of us. Uh- hmm. >> Any leading man? >> Yeah, for her I would say Zach Efron and for me, Sean Connery. We switch up. >> Michelle Rotuno- Johnson in Cincinnati, Ohio wants to know. Have you picked up any motherhood do's and don'ts from your roles and movies like Mean Girls and Baby Mama? >> My character in Mean Girls is the exact opposite mother you would want. So I did not turn to my films for advice, no Ma'am. >> This final question is from Antonio Lucca in Venice, Italy. >> Oh, Antonio. And every time I do interviews, Antonio always follows me. He's always asking me questions. >> He wanted to know-- >> Yes. >> Do you have any advice for people who are naturally funny? >> Oh, Antonio, bless your heart. This question tells me more of Antonio than it's gonna tell you about me. But I would say, be whatever you are. It doesn't matter. If you're not actually funny, who cares? Not everyone has to be funny and certainly to be around funny people all the time is kind of exhausting. You sometimes wanna have an actual conversation with an interesting person. And Antonio sounds like he would be able to describe me various types of cured meat or beautiful cheeses. So I say, don't worry about it. >> Do you ever feel pressure being comedienne or people expect you to being funny all the time? >> No. Maybe I used to but now I've got a little older like I take pleasure in a disappointment in their eyes-- funny. It's not bad. No. I always have a bag of props with me though, Alison.
