## Transcript

[ MUSIC ] Apple just announced it's annual quarterly earnings and things don't look great. The one big thing you need to know is that Apple just barely avoided posting the first year over year drop in iPhone sales. Since the device came out but the iPhone still had its slowest sales growth ever and that's important because the smartphone is by far the company's biggest source of revenue. Numbers confirm some analyst's warnings that Apple's days of rabid growth are coming to an end. The iPhone 6 which had a bigger screen than any iPhone before it sold like crazy but the follow up the iPhone 6s was only a minor upgrade that customer's just didn't go bonkers for.

Still, this doesn't mean Apple is doomed. Lots of investors are already looking at Apple as a value company. That means it's seen as a reliable investment, but not one that's gonna generate the insane growth that it has in the past. [ MUSIC ]
