History is made, the Philadelphia Eagles win their first ever Lombardi Trophy after taking down the Patriots 41- 33 in Super Bowl 52. Philly embraced the underdog role and took out the defending champs, led by the game's MVP, quarterback, Nick Foles. Foles was never even supposed to be here, but he filled in for the injured Carson Wentz, leading the Eagles to the title win He completed 28 of 43 passes for 373 yards and three touchdowns, but he also caught a touchdown pass, as well on a trick play. This game was all about offense breaking offensive records for the most total yards ever in any NFL game in history 1, 151.

Tom Brady didn't get the win, but he continued to make history breaking his own record for passing yards in a Superbowl, with 505 yards. He also threw for 3 touchdowns. With the game on the line, 2 minutes remaining in the In Tom Brady's hands, the Eagles defense got the stop with Brandon Graham's strip sack of Brady, stealing the win for Philadelphia and the Eagles are underdogs no more.
