## Transcript

HBO, Saturday Night Live, and now the funny pages, Girls creator Lena Dunham will pen a four part Archie Comic story set for release in 2015. As one of the longest running brands in the history of the comic book industry, Dunham's deal is part of a larger push by Archie Comics to update its image. Entertainment Weekly says the story will follow Archie and the gang when they run into a new reality show filming in Riverdale. The outspoken star is a long time fan of the classic comic strip and says she's excited to write a story of her own. In a press release Dunham said, I was an avid Archie collector as a child.

Conventions, first editions that I kept in plastic sleeves, the whole shebang. It has so much cultural significance but also so much personal significance and to get to play with these beloved characters is a wild creative opportunity. A lot of dreams are coming true for Dunham this year, her first book of essays is set to hit shelves this fall. And she's hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time this weekend. When I found out that I'd be hosting I screamed to such a degree that the people in my writer's room thought someone had died. Dunham called her SNL gig a dream come true on Twitter joking, can't wait to debut my character, girl who googled serial killers all night and has lots to say!

And now admittedly we can't wait to watch. I'm Cliff Judy.
