[ MUSIC ] In Middle- earth, Shadow of Mordor. You are Talian, a ranger of Gondor, and a guardian of the Black Gates. Until the night Sauron and his black captains returned to Mordor, killing everyone you've ever loved, and leaving you for dead. With Shadow of Mordor, we're focused on two important concepts here. One is just being as authentic to the, the, the canon to the stories, the world and the franchise is possible. You burned my face, and I will burn your corpse. Trying to build a new story that's gonna be interesting for people to discover new things about this world, but at the same time, leaving all these threads and connections.

To what people know about so we're enriching the whole franchise when you play this thing. There's also some more subtle layers of like the relationships, the stories that your building with these guys and we just created a really massive amount of content. Master help me. At the core the nemesis system is like, it's a system where every enemy in the world. Can actually become meaningful build a relationship be relevant to your game, and it's so specific to your game that's kind of the exciting thing for us about the Nemesis system is taking that run through the world and experiencing all the crazy chaotic stuff that can come out of that system.

It really makes it completely unique to every single play through and it's just really fun environment to develop in at the studio.
