## Transcript

After four months and 144 performances, Kristin Chenoweth and the rest of the On the Twentieth Century cast took their final bow on Broadway earlier this week. And come Wednesday night the normally bubbly actress was still Wiped out from all that hard work. So wiped out, in fact, she almost bailed on her appearance on the Late Late Show that night. Are you okay? I'm alright, I'm tired. You know, I don't really feel like doing this. I just closed my show on Broadway Sunday night. I don't feel like doing the chit chat. Your show. [ LAUGH ] Poor Kristin. But fortunately, James Corden was able to lure her out of her dressing room with one of her favorite things in the world.

A song. [ MUSIC ] We've got tonight, here on this talk show. We've got tonight. [ MUSIC ] Tonight, babe. Why don't we chat? [ APPLAUSE ] Deep in my soul, I need promotion. My agent told me I push my career. We've got. [ MUSIC ] Nothing like a good old fashioned duet to convince Kristin Chenoweth to promote her latest projects and ventures am I right? We're glad James was able to coax her to come out and chat. Kristin couldn't help but gush about her most recent honor, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony will take place Friday afternoon and we got a sneak peek at her newest role as Maleficent in the live action Disney film Descendants.

That's my nasty little girl. Talk about Wicked. The film will hit the Disney Channel July 31st. And in the meantime Kris, get some rest will you?
