## Transcript

>> My name is Audrey Marrs. I'm the producer of Inside Job. When Lehman Brothers collapsed in September of 2008, that really sort of cemented the idea and we realized we kind of have to make a film about this.

>> They have the power to do every case that I made when I was state attorney general. They just want to.

>> You know, watching this tsunami coming-

>> They were having massive private games at public loss.

>> I studied curatorial practice in graduate school and I think there's a similarity actually between curating and producing in that you're working with a person who has a creative vision and you're trying to make that manifest into a tangible, accessible firm that's for a mass audience. So, part of it is identifying to that audiences and then trying to speak a language that they understand.

>> Does it change the game for documentary to be nominated for an Oscar?

>> Obviously, it's an ultimate honor for [ unk ] that anyone could ever receive. And so, remember, just prior to when the nominations were announced, I just didn't want the life of a film [ unk ] yet. And I knew that, had we not received the nomination, that things would die down after that. And that, I would've been sad about that one. So, this is a way that that many more people will see it and, for that, I'm extremely grateful. I've always been a girl who's really into fashion since I was a child. Always, I just always was oriented that way. You know, my mom was and still is, without trying very hard, quite a fashionable woman and, you know, I would watch Charlie's Angels when I was a kid.

So, I remember, after the show which I got to stay up late to watch, I would go to my closet and sort of try and construct an outfit that was based on what they were wearing.

>> Oh, yeah. You know that silver, silver hair, kind of [ unk ] hair. And she just wanted to be so much like her and her hair [ unk ] like her mom was really pretty upset. She's taking way too long in the bathroom.

>> So, yes. That part of it is not casual at all. I have some friends in fashion now which I didn't have before. So, I'm gonna go look at some dresses in various places this week. I spent my 20's playing in punk bands and working at punk record labels. And for some of the people that I know from that time or through that genre, have evolved in fashion. I think I know what I'm gonna wear now, but all of that remains to be seen which freaks me out a little bit.

>> Please leave a message.

>> Hey, Ivan. It's Audrey Marrs. I got my dress and I feel extremely comfortable and I'm happy. I am about to leave Courtney off to her parents.

>> And the Oscar goes to Inside Job, Charles Ferguson and Audrey Marrs.

>> Much love [ unk ] to my family. Thank you so much.
