In my mind I attenuated the violence pretty heavily, because real bloodshed is far more gruesome than anything I showed. [ UNKNOWN ] I've got to kill this man. There will be people who can't make it to the film, but I also couldn't diminish it so much that it didn't feel authentic. We have been defending ourselves against the killings and raping's of our own people from the PLF and now from the Nasijunta. But it has awakened a sleeping beast. Everything I tread on is pretty much for the most part real things that are taking place in this world, it can very easily just be making distractive sort of entertainment.

But I'd much rather be a documenter of our time rather than just sort of pretending like none of this is happening. The government only killed my father and my big brother. And my father told me to run into the bush. Even though it's not based on a true story it mirrors Exactly what's happening in conflicts around the world, and when you meet a character like Hagu who takes you through the story the emotional memory you have after experiencing this movie. You can't erase it. It will always stay inside you. Victory. Victory. Victory. Victory. [ SOUND ] [ BLANK_AUDIO ]
