## Transcript

I'm most inspired when I see communities tackling the challenges of climate change with solutions that work for them. So earlier in the year. I got to visit nature based upon removal project in Kenya and there it was a women-led grass seed bank and women who were also being trained and working in the community on rangeland management techniques and seeing the change in that my side Community really did inspire me will in Destroy them with the change of government clean energy Finance Corporation was entrusted with the further 20.5 billion dollars to invest in transmission to help try to reach 83% Renewables by 2030 as well invest in the Energy Efficiency of homes across the country and Mike Rider investments into invited technology companies a very inspiring addition to the CFC.

About 10 years ago. I found myself in Yosemite National Park. This is a park in the Amazon in Ecuador. And I was there in the company of the warranty people. This is the most biodiverse place on planet. It's dripping with life yet Royal had just been discovered in the government was going to drill for that oil and I really thought there was nothing that was going to stop that. Now the government off for three and a half for billion dollars from the International Community in order for them not to drill and there is no way it was no way we can dance Anthem Community was going to come up with that kind of money.

And so the last ten years if you'd asked me that I would have said they're going to drill in August something amazing and signatures to put the idea of drilling yasuni up for a national referendum in the People by voting basically said no we are not going to drill for oil in this most precious place. Distracted or for the world. I was very happy with the announcement by the USDA is part of which one billion dollars in Investments to the agricultural Community across the u.s. To really adopt climate-smart Technologies include its work around and tearing my fade or methane in general. I think this is a good start because she needs those incentives to really get things to move one important event.

This year is the investor focus on biodiversity and deforestation. Both companies and investors have come to recognize that there is room for soy based Solutions nature-based Solutions through regenerative agriculture as we even discussed. What about in Paris in 2015? So we have come to recognize that there are many fronts on which there is room for impact and climate action.
