## Transcript

There was good news on the jobs front Thursday morning. Initial jobless claims moved from a slightly revised 288 down 10, 000 to 278. That's the second lowest initial jobless claims have been this year. And it dropped the four week averaging claims to its lowest level since 2000, building on more good news from Wednesday. The payroll company, ADP says private businesses added 230, 000. New jobs in October, and that is exceeding expectations. The better than expected numbers seem to suggest a US labor market that remains strong and it's fueling expectation Friday's jobs report form the Labor Department will bring more good news about employment and the US economy.

Give us a tease. Good report tomorrow? 265 thousand the market goes up 130 points. Whoa! Still analysts warn there is more to the labor market than jobs numbers. And there hasn't been a comparable growth in wages. Many will be looking into Friday's jobs numbers to see if that shifted at all.
