## Transcript

>> So many stories coming out of Wednesday's People's Choice Awards but one of the biggest Zac Efron's return to the spotlight. Appearing on stage with co- stars from the movie That Awkward Moment, Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller, The trio presented the Best Comedic Movie award.

>> The 3 of us know just a little bit about awkward moments. In fact, there was this one time that I texted a girl and she didn't text me back for like 20 minutes. And I just--

>> That is not-- What's awkward about that?

>> This marked Efron's first public appearance since November when he slipped in a puddle at home in LA, fell and broke his jaw, halting what would have normally been his part in a promotional blitz for the new film. That also marked just one more hurdle to jump in the challenging 2013 for Efron as he quietly completed rehab in the spring for drug and alcohol abuse. Helping him through all of it apparently actress Lily Collins who's been seen more and more with Efron recently. Of the rumored couple, Fashion & Style quoted a source saying, Zac knows if he wants to save his career and his life, he needs to stay sober and it's making his transition a lot easier to be dating someone like Lily.

As long as he's good now, that should work. Efron can get back to clowning around for his current project and start looking for the next one. For Time, I'm Cliff Judy.
