## Transcript

Jump over you. Welcome everyone is the prime minister is the president and honor to welcome to both here today, too. Great to Camp. David trilateral between our three nations among our three nations. It's not only the first time. When I hosted a Camp, David is the first-ever stand-alone Summit between the leaders of Japan and Republic of Korea and the United States. And I can think of no better way, no, better way to Mark, our new chapter of our trial, L Corporation, and meeting here at Camp David. And so strengthening the ties between our democracy has long been a priority for me, dating back to when I was vice president, knighted states as because our countries are stronger and the world is safer when he said it again, our countries are stronger and the world would be safer as we stand together.

And I know this is a belief. We all three share requires, more foundations for a challenges that threaten Regional security and must be addressed by us the building up stronger commitment to working together. Today will be remembered as a historic day, where we established a firm institutional business and commitment to the trilateral partnership. I hope we will explore together. We need to elevate cooperation between Korea, the US and Japan to a new plane through in-depth discussions. I would like to express my sympathy once again for the devastating damage is caused by the wildfires in Maui Hawaii.

In order to provide relief to the affected people, Japan has decided to offer a total of around two million dollars of support. I offer my heartfelt prayer for the earliest possible recovery of the affected areas. May I also want second convey my heartfelt condolences for the passing away of president. Use father today, I look forward to engaging in a Frank discussion Amongst ourselves in order to declare a new area of Japan us are. Okay, partnership.
