T minus 10, nine, eight. Seven, six, five, four, three, two, one, zero and lift off. The Falcon takes flight. Propelling the deep space climate observatory on a million journey to protect our planet Earth. [ INAUDIBLE ] [ INAUDIBLE ] on 65. [ INAUDIBLE ] is active. Beautiful ascent. [ INAUDIBLE ]. One minute 13 seconds after liftoff, the Falcon nine will reach supersonic speed. 50 seconds into flight now. Falcon nine basking in the glow of the sunset. Six point five kilometers. Average distance one point three kilometers. Speed 599 meters per second. Recovery has acquisition of signal. Standing by to pass through the maximum dy, aerodynamic pressure.

Vehicle is super sonic. Falcon 9 is super sonic. [ NOISE ] Eagle has reached maximum aerodynamic pressure. [ NOISE ] First stage prop is still nominal. Everything go. [ INAUDIBLE ] remain nominal. Falcon and Discover passing through max que. [ NOISE ] And back is chilling in. Two minutes into the flight of Falcon and DSCOVR. Vehicle remains on a nominal trajectory, altitude 33. 9 kilometers, down range distance 20. 9 kilometers. Speed, 1468 meters per second. Standing by for the first stage engines to shut down. First stage cutoff in about 23 seconds. Vehicle remains on nominal trajectory. Altitude 57.

9 kilometers, downrate systems 50- 50. 0 kilometers B23 50 meters per second. We have beaker one. And we have main engine cut off. Separation confirmed. Second stage engine. Ignition. And we have stage two engine ignition. Has occurred on time. The Falcon 9 Merlin vacuum engine producing 92, 000 pounds of thrust, continuing to carry Discover to its place in space. Standing by for the fering jettison. This will expose Discover to space for the first time. And we see [ CROSSTALK ] a good [ INAUDIBLE ]. [ INAUDIBLE ]
