## Transcript

We are now into the third day of this hostage stand up here in Nairobi. The Kenyan authorities though are saying that they believe there is now and end finally in sight. They say they've killed two of the hostage takers and released most as they say of the hostages. They're claiming to be in control of most of the building saying that they've managed to [ unk ] off sections in which the militants and the hostages are still present. As you can see from that black smoke following behind me, the militants do have some scope of movement. They managed to get up onto the roof and burn mattresses that they've taken from the shopping center inside from the supermarket inside the shopping center as a distraction.

But it's not just here the operations seemed to be going on. Kenyan [ unk ] Ministry says that it has now arrested four suspects at Nairobi International Airport. They say that they suspect them of involvement with this incident and they've taken them in for questions. They've also broaden out the area of operations escorting off of the roads leading into the shopping center. The hope is that they could be some resolution here tonight and this doesn't go into a [ unk ], but of course, we are all still watching and waiting.
