## Transcript

Welcome to the PageCast. It's Saturday, January fifth. I'm Mark Halperin in Manchester, New Hampshire with three things to watch for in politics today. First on the Republican presidential debate, sponsored by ABC News, WMUR and Facebook. Watch to see the engagement between Mitt Romney and John McCain. The winner of the debate will get a leg up in trying to win the primary. The winner of the New Hampshire primary, between John McCain and Mitt Romney, likely the Republican front runner at least for a time That is a very key contest. Watch to see how they engage tonight in the debate. On the Democratic side watch Hillary Clinton.

This is her biggest moment between now and Tuesday's primary to try to create the contrast between herself and Barack Obama that she would like voters to have. It is gonna be a very open debate. Watch to see if Hillary Clinton is able to do what she needs to do to try to get voters again to think about the race in her terms. . and then, finally, polls and ads. We haven't talked much about polls in New Hampshire since Iowa. Look to see if there's any fresh data out by the end of Saturday and also final advertising likely to go on the air. Check out The Page for a new possible Hillary Clinton ad.

Those are your three things to watch for on this very important Saturday. Leading up to the New Hampshire primary. You can get all the political news all day right here on the Page. For now, I'm Mark Halperin, thanks for watching the Page Cast.
