I came in there on Saturday thinking like, how am I going to do this for a few more days? Because I really wasn't sure I could. I had put so much into it at that point. I want to be here to see the outcome. And you don't know when it's going to come. I could feel dead tired, barely hold my eyes open. And then the minute the new vote came in, you know, I just there was there is a bit of a rush in just to know, you know, and let's see how know how it changes the board. They called it at 1130 and I was asleep not long after that. But Steve KORNACKI here and I just wanted to say, I saw all these incredibly, you know, kind and nice messages everybody had had on social media there. I just want to say thank you. I took a couple of days to realize that stuff like that was happening when I started getting family and friends, sending me things. There's there's worse feats in life than a nap. So maybe a squeamish, you know, it's just this is the you know, but it was it's not going to just pull out a cup state Hey, Steve we could get the individual county results from the official county website. Sometimes a little bit faster than it would it would appear in our system. And the way the election was was going, there was such interest in every time there's a new vote in one of these key states, we want to show we want to get to it. So it became, you know, a bit of, okay, we just got, you know, 20,000 new votes here in Philadelphia, you know, And they come in to me, it's an honor system. So. All right. Let me let me do the math myself. You know, they can process 12. There it is, 26, three, 19. It just came up. You doing math? Exactly right. It worked. But it was also it was probably for the best in that like maybe to give them a chance to kind of show the math. Basically. Let me explain why. There is still, I think, a little bit of uncertainty when it comes to calling Pennsylvania, despite what seems to be a very clear trajectory here. If you're going to have widespread early mail voting, should there be some effort there to coordinate between the states to maybe tighten the window a little bit? Is that feasible? Because it's the processing of these ballots that slowed Pennsylvania down for days? I mean, again, I just I look at Florida. Florida should be a model for every state in the country because they've got early voting. They've got mail in voting, they've got same day voting. They've got 10 million people voting. And they had the whole state reported out by 11:00 on election night.
