## Transcript

Welcome to the PageCast. It's Thursday, September 18th. I'm Mark Halperin in Grand Rapids, Michigan with your three things to watch for in politics today. First, the economy remains front and center, watch to see how the two candidates, two campaigns talk about it. Watch to see if either can present a positive message and also watch to see the negative messages including in advertising, an ad on the stump. Second, McCain and Palin out together again in Michigan starting today, but headed to Iowa and to Wisconsin, watch to see how that buddy duo does out on the stump today. And then finally, the advertising across the board, lots of ads out, lots of good stories today about what ads are actually on the air and in what levels.

Watch to see if we get any new ads today and also the media scrutiny of the claims made in these new advertisements. Those are your three things to watch for in politics today. You can get all the political news all the time right here on The Page. For now in Grand Rapids, I'm Mark Halperin. Thanks for watching the PageCast.
