## Transcript

[ MUSIC ] Today we're going to show you Apple's new iPhone 7, tell you what it comes with, what it's all about, and the new features it has. Let's get right to it. We have the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus here, the larger model. Just to get started, we'll take a look at what comes in the box with the iPhone 7. So here we have the phone in the jet blank finish, which is the new one Apple just unveiled. There earpods that Apple gives you this time around come with a lighting connector. Because the new iPhone doesn't have the headphone jack, so you plug your headphones in through the lighting Connector at the bottom so.

The charging port. Yeah so you know you plug your headphones right into the charging port. As you can see right there. But they also include an adaptor in case you have older headphones that you want to use with the new iPhone. They're giving you this adaptor right here so if you plug this into the bottom You'll notice this is the familiar 3. 5 millimeter cord that your old iPhone came with. So does that make it hard to charge your phone and listen to music at the same time? If you typically do that that might be a problem unless you're planning on just playing music out of the speakers which, by the way, Apple upgraded to stereo speakers this time around and they do sound a lot better.

Yeah, and the other thing I noticed The iPhone 7 Plus that's different is that it looks like there's two lenses back there. Yes, so that's the other big thing is that Apple put two lenses on the larger model. The first one is a wide angle lens so that's the standard lens that you have on a normal smartphone, and the same one that this model has. The second one is a telephoto lens, which makes it Easier to zoom in and get high quality shots. It'll eliminate some of some of that blurriness and that noise that you get when you try to zoom in really close. And then you've got the AirPods they're called?

Yes so these are the new Bluetooth headphones. So what these do, is as soon as you put them in your ears, they have sensors that detect when you put them in your ears and when you take them out. So they'll be able to play music and pause music without you having to reach for your phone. the headphone jacks gone, so they're sort of pushing people to go for the wireless phone. Right. although, those are on the expensive side, compared to normal head phones. Yeah, these are $ 159, so they're a little pricey. The case is interesting too because it charges them, so you don't have to worry about plugging them in when you get home.

If your phone's in your pocket while you're walking and you don't wanna take it out, there are microphones in these earbuds so you can just answer the call. Thanks for watching Tech Time.
