## Transcript

[ LAUGH ] [ MUSIC ] I'm Kate Beaton and I'm gonna show you how to draw a pony. So I always start every drawing I make, with the eyes. I think that the eyes are usually the most important part. They're big and round. And then the next thing I do is make a little tuft of hair on top of the it's kind of like things like me, and a little pair of ears. And then the pony needs a face, it's a big round one with the big cheek. And a couple of nostrils. Now we're going to give a little mane, beautiful mane. It's just one line after another really until you think it's long enough. And then we're going to make a body shape here, and it's roughly like a little jelly bean.

Looking good. He's looking pretty good. So a lot of people think this is a drawing od a pig and I don't blame them. It's a very small and round pony. But we're gonna give him some legs right now. So lets are just like the little square blocks that he stands on. It's a lot of round jelly bean on top of For a little box. The last thing we need is a tail. That's pretty easy. It's a really- it's a pretty simple drawing but it seems to pack a lot of punch because there's a lot of character in it even for a few simple lines. [ LAUGH ] And I hope you like it. [ MUSIC ]
